Sunshine: What do you need to stop doing to be successful?
Crystal: Welcome to the Love of Business. I’m Crystal.
Sunshine: And I’m Sunshine. Let’s get to it.
I don’t think very much people have actually asked this question of themselves? What do you need to do? Wait, what do you need to stop doing to be successful? I’m always asking the opposite, what do I need to do to be successful?
Crystal: Yes, and most people think that way. So, most people think, “Okay, to be successful, I need to do more.” But really, it usually comes down to what you need to stop doing to be successful.
Sunshine: Okay.
Crystal: Okay.
Sunshine: So, what are some of the things that we need to stop doing to be successful?
Crystal: Well, great question. Great question. This could be either in your personal life or your business life.
Sunshine: Okay.
Crystal: But the key here is to do a self evaluation of your behaviors and how you spend your time. And then looking at those behaviors and those tasks, and asking yourself, “Is this a deposit or is this a withdrawal?”
Sunshine: The old deposit, withdrawal banking system of yourself.
Crystal: Yeah. So, a withdrawal takes away from your success. But a deposit adds to your success. And then eliminate all your withdrawals.
Sunshine: Sounds pretty easy, no? Do you have any other tips that could help us with tracking this or just to stop doing what we need to stop doing to be successful?
Crystal: It’s really just stop doing it.
Sunshine: What’s your number one takeaway from today’s video? Leave us a comment and thanks for watching.
