Praise your team sounds kind of important for morale.
Crystal: Oh, very important. It’s a simple and very powerful way to keep your team motivated.
Sunshine: I like the sound of that. So, what are some ways we can do more of that for our team?
Crystal: I’m going to give you three tips right now, three powerful ways to praise your team.
- Number one, do it in real time feedback. So don’t wait a week or two weeks, do it the same day or when it actually happens.
- Number two, when you’re giving praise be very specific about what you’re praising them for to reinforce that good behavior.
- Number three, praise them in front of other team members. Because that will reinforce the team’s good behavior and increase morale.
