Sunshine: What kind of swag are you using to promote your business?
Crystal: Welcome to The Love of Business. I’m Crystal.
Sunshine: And I’m Sunshine. Let’s get to it.
Swag, swag, swag. So, are you talking like pens, coffee cups, mouse pad things?
Crystal: Yup, that’s what we’re talking about. Things you can put your branding, logo, business name on and give out to your current customers and prospects.
Sunshine: So, you want it to be useful, I’m assuming?
Crystal: You definitely want it to be functional. But it can also be something that is a great reminder. For example, what if you branded a refrigerator magnet and gave it to your customers and prospects?
Sunshine: Well, if it’s holding up the kid’s artwork, not only are you looking at the magnet, but you are looking at the artwork.
Crystal: And how many times a day do you go to the refrigerator?
Sunshine: These days, way too many.
Crystal: And you’re not alone. Meaning if you gave your customers a magnet, they are going to be thinking about you all day, every day. How great is that?
Sunshine: Probably way too great.
Crystal: So, when you are deciding what swag you want, the key is you want something that is not very expensive. This should be low cost to you but high value to your customers and your prospects. So, think about what would relate to your business the most and feel good to your customers. And what they would actually use and enjoy.
Sunshine: What’s your number one takeaway from today’s video? Leave us a comment. And thanks for watching.
