Sunshine: Are you choosing the best vendors for your business?
Crystal: Welcome to The Love of Business. I’m Crystal.
Sunshine: And I’m Sunshine. Let’s get to it.
Vendors, well, why– why are they so important? I mean, I know that we hire vendors to do the things that we’re not really good at or interested in doing, you know, like bookkeeping and stuff.
Crystal: That’s right.
Sunshine: But what else makes them so vital and how do we pick them? I mean, it’s hard.
Crystal: It can be. Let’s talk about why they are so important. They do the work that we do not want to do, that we shouldn’t be doing, and that buys are time back so that we can work on the business and grow the business. So, it’s leverage.
Sunshine: I love leverage.
Crystal: So, let’s talk about ways to vet the best vendors. When vetting the best vendors, you should look for three things. Number one is quality of their service and product. It’s super important. Number two, reliability. Do they do what they say they are going to do when they say they are going to do it. And Number three, ask for recommendations from your network, your friends, and your family because that is one of the easiest ways to get the best vendors on board.
Sunshine: What’s your number one takeaway from today’s video? Leave us a comment. And thanks for watching.
